Ruth’s Learning Center (RLC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing youth, emerging professionals, justice-impacted individuals, and communities for long-term career and workplace success.
Through workforce readiness, career development, leadership development, and workplace education, RLC helps individuals build the skills, confidence, and knowledge to enter the workforce, succeed on the job, and create pathways toward economic stability.
Select RLC programs incorporate curriculum and educational resources developed by Workplace Keyes to Success Publishing, LLC (WKS), including the Workplace Survival Method™ (WSM), an evidence-informed framework designed to strengthen communication, professionalism, workplace readiness, and employment retention.

Dr. Christal Keyes, Ed.D.
Dr. Christal Keyes is an educator, author, speaker, and workforce development professional with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. She is the Founder and Principal Educator of Workplace Keyes to Success Publishing, LLC, an organization dedicated to helping individuals and organizations build healthier, more professional workplace environments.
Dr. Keyes holds a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership and Organizational Development, where her research focused on workplace bullying, leader narcissistic tendencies, and organizational culture. Her passion for workplace wellness and professional development led her to create the evidence-based Workplace Survival Method™, a practical framework designed to help individuals recognize workplace challenges, communicate professionally, navigate difficult workplace dynamics, and thrive with confidence.
Through customized workshops, speaking engagements, books, workbooks, certification programs, and consulting services, Dr. Keyes works with youth programs, workforce development organizations, reentry initiatives, nonprofits, schools, and employers to close the gap between obtaining employment and successfully navigating the workplace once hired.
Her mission is to empower individuals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to recognize unhealthy workplace behaviors, strengthen emotional intelligence, establish professional boundaries, and create more respectful and productive workplace cultures.
