     YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Bullies usually victimize individuals they are threatened by.

Most often,
YOU as the target are intelligent, accomplished, knowledgeable, experienced, and confident.

Dr. Christal Keyes

Dr. Christal Keyes has a passion for affecting systemic change in a way that brings individuals together to support and strengthen civility within the workplace. She has encountered toxic, egotistical leaders throughout her profession, practicing misconduct and bullying to stress, intimidate, and humiliate others. Through her experiences as a target, bystander, and doctoral researcher, Dr. Keyes has become a bona fide advocate for anti-bullying! She believes in human decency and is driven to help eliminate the number of casualties from workplace bullying!

OUR VOICES MATTER!

As employees, we want organizations to take the necessary measures for a civil work environment; this is not always so! Bullying within the workplace is a modern-day equivalency to bullying on the playground. From the playground to the boardroom, bullying happens in all social settings across the globe.

I’ve discovered from my account that workplace bullying intensifies when negative actions, mistreatment, misconduct, incivility, and the like are left unchallenged and not addressed and reproached!

Does bullying have an expiration date? If bullying decreases with age, why should we have to encounter such negative confrontations within our adult life? The absence of federal laws and regulations surrounding the development of anti-bullying policies does not negate the civil urgency.

Workplace bullying affects the mental and physical health of the target. Bullied employees cannot perform their job to their full potential. The impacts of workplace bullying do not end with your work shift.

Workplace bullying is not a sign of weakness—
it often targets those with strength and integrity.
